My name is Laura Sharp, a Photographer and Videographer under the name Shots By Sharp, based in California’s Central Valley and beyond! I specialize in capturing athletes, brands and automotive with attention to detail through a storytelling style approach.
I’ve built my career working 1 on 1 with athletes to help elevate their brand image while also showcasing a brand or product. I thrive in environments where real emotions + candid moments in luxury automotive or wellness spaces collide. I enjoy collaborating with brands and expressing my creativity to direct a shoot that helps reflect their mission through dynamic, yet natural poses.
My work consists of using fan engagement to drive the success for any Sports Team’s social media, with a mixture of high intensity shots and authentic sideline moments. Away from the game, I focus on creating a space where the audience/supporters feel their input is heard while also capturing an athlete’s personality in real time through short-form content. Event coverage is where attention to detail, brand visibility and marketing opportunities are so vital! That’s why I make sure to be on my toes to document those behind the scenes moments and mic up my clients for their interviews. Oftentimes Brands need a fresh and creative way to present themselves on social media and/or for promotional use. That’s where I like to contribute partial or full creative direction to a brand shoot with high quality images, dynamic movements and editing that feels custom to the brand.
