Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and raised in the small town of Delhi, California; Laura Desiree Sharp later discovered she had dreams much bigger than her upbringing. Laura's love for documenting and creating began at an early age where she expressed her creativity through hands on arts and crafts or filming herself and her older siblings. Growing up, Laura was occupied with playing sports such as Softball for 5 years and running Track & Field for 3 years while also performing in local musicals (which she really enjoyed!). This love for documenting quickly grew to creating short form content and vlogging with her friends as she navigated through high school.

Laura took a Journalism class her sophomore year, not knowing it would keep her afloat during a troubling season of her life. What brought her true pride and joy for the first time in a long time, was taking photos of her peers around campus and at football games to put inside the yearbook; where she designed her own pages with full creative freedom. Although Laura transferred to independent studies through a different school, she asked to keep working on that year's yearbook until it was finished and offered to take over her unfinished classmates' pages as well.

Oddly enough, she didn't pick up a camera for 2 years after that. Laura knew that she wanted to work in sports but had no clue she could pursue a creative career in sports! It was a few weeks before Christmas and on a whim Laura decided to buy a small used digital camera. Although every time she attempted to purchase, it wouldn't go through or the seller would suddenly be unresponsive. Laura then decided to buy a more professional camera and had no issues purchasing, and that very camera would kickstart her sports photography journey.

The love for storytelling & being creative remains at the core of Laura's heart. She hopes to tell stories through her art and make an impact in the sports media space while bringing glory to God throughout her journey.

Outside of her creative work, Laura loves to travel and spend time outdoors especially if it's at the beach! Some of her favorite things to do consist of cooking/baking, listening to music and staying active through fitness.
